A RESOLUTION: A WARDING THE IDA LEE BARN RENOVATION CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Ida Lee Barn Renovation Project is a fully funded capital project in the FY
2008-2012 CIP; and
WHEREAS, in response to a public solicitation for the construction bids of the Ida Lee
Barn Renovations project, the Town received bids on January 11,2008, from the following firms:
. Fougllnterbuild, Inc.
$179,087.00
. Jay Crowder Corporation
$313,052.07
. Woodford Brothers
$327,011.41
. Vision Restoration and Contracting, LLC
$423,154.50
. Milestone Construction Services
$514,550.00; and
WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated by the Director of the Department of Capital Projects
Management and the Chief Purchasing Officer in accordance with the Town's Purchasing Policy;
and
WHEREAS, Fougllnterbuild, Inc. ofPurcellville, VA was determined to be the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, this is a combination lump sum and unit price contract; and
WHEREAS, the final unit price is determined by multiplying the unit price by the actual
approved quantities in place; and
WHEREAS, change order procedures are detailed in the bid specifications.

CONTRACT
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the Town Attorney, with
Fougllnterbuild, Inc., in the amount of$179,087.00 for the construction of this project.
