RESOLUTION NO. 2008-29 1DOPTED February 12,2008
A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO C BLE COMMISSION
WHEREAS, participation by public-spirited citizens n town boards and commissions is
vital to the success of town government and the democratic p ocess; and
I
WHEREAS, boards and commissions serve an indisp . nsable role in providing
recommendations concerning town policy and programs; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective indi iduals to serve at its will and
pleasure on these advisory boards; and I
I
WHEREAS, on July 24,2000, Council adopted Resolhtion No. 2000-148 establishing a
I
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town bO+dS and commissions; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Cable commissitn.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the T wn of Leesburg in Virginia hereby
appoints Marc Le Maitre to a term ending on June 30, 2008.1
