A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO MCCLINTOCK TRUCKING & EXCAVATING
FOR WORK PERFORMED ON THE FIELDCREST DRAINAGE WAY PROJECT (PHASE I)
FOR THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a Municipal Corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, On March 10, 2020, McClintock Trucking & Excavating was awarded the
Fieldcrest Drainage Way Project (Phase I) in the amount of $19,840.00 (ref. RESOLUTION
2020-22), and;
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2020, the City Council authorized an additional $9,000 in
expenses related to replacing a culvert in the drainage way as recommended by the
City's engineering consultant, MSA Professional Services (ref. RESOLUTION 2020-37),
thereby bringing the total project estimated cost to $28,840.00, and;
WHEREAS, in early May of 2020, the required clearing and grading work was completed
and the site was seeded, allowing the City to consider the project complete, and;
WHEREAS, McClintock Trucking & Excavating has submitted an invoice for services
provided equaling 28,462.00, and;
WHEREAS, the City's engineering consultant, MSA Professional Services, recommends
making payment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE,
IOWA.
Section 1. The City Council of Riverdale hereby authorizes the payment request.
