ITEM #1: Oath of Office will be administered by Sherry Carter for
all members to renew or take for the first time.
ITEM #2: Approval of the minutes of the December 1, 1988 meeting.
ITEM #3: Additions to the agenda.
ITEM #4: Discussion on Public Hearing Items:
ITEM #4A: Amendments to the Parking sections of the Ordinance;
ITEM #4B: Addition to the Ordinance establishing a buffer along
I-85 and I-40 and its additional standards (enclosed);
ITEM #4C: Subdivision Regulations specifically:
1. Road standards,
2. Street Classification system
3. Park designation areas
4. Additional issues
ITEM #4D: + Overlay Zoning Request by Roger Dale Stephes for 10 acres
on the west side of Buttonwood Dr.
ITEM #5: Collection of $4.00 from each member for Inauguration Reception.
NOTICES
On January 7th at 7:00 PM the N.C. ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COMMISSION
will hold a Public Hearing on PROPOSED ENO RIVER AREA CAPACITY USE
DESIGNATION at the Orange County Courthouse. The text is available at
the Planning Department for your review. This will affect development
in Hillsborough if the designation is enacted.
There will be a JOINT PUBLIC HEARING on January 26th at 7:00 PM at
Town Hall regarding the issues to be discussed at the January 7th meeting.
A Bad Weather Date of February 2nd is established. Watch your
.News of Orange County for agenda.
