RESOLUTION NO. 2008-45
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH AM-LINER EAST, PURSUANT TO THE
FAIRFAX COUNTY CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the Utility Fund FY 2008-2012 CIP includes funding for sewer line rehabilitation in the
amount of $200,000 for FY 2008; and
WHEREAS, the County of Fairfax recently awarded a contract to Am-Liner East, Inc. for sewer
relining projects; and
WHEREAS, the Information For Bid (IFB)-08-93006841 included a ridership clause for use by other
Virginia jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Leesburg was specifically identified as one of these jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, the contractor is in agreement to extend the same Fairfax County contract terms,
conditions and unit prices to the Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, a total of approximately $162,000 in projects have been identified for this contract.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lees burg in Virginia as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in the amount of
$162,000 to Am-Liner East, Inc. for the 2008 Sewer Relining project.
