AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
PURSUANT TO LOCAL PUBLIC CONTRACT LAW
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret determined that
there exists within the Borough a need for a C-3 Sewer Operator for the Engineering
Department; and
WHEREAS, the employment of a C-3 Sewer Operator is a professional service
pursuant to the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds within the 1996 Temporary Budget for this
purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that
ANTHONY STUPPIELLO
and the same is hereby designated as C-3 Operator for and on behalf of the Borough
of Carteret for an annual fee in the amount of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00);
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this appointment is made as a professional
service under the provisions and pursuant to the Local Public Contract Law N.J.S.A.
40A: 11-1 et seq., and that a notice of this action shall be printed once in The Home
News & Tribune on January 23, 1996.

and certified as a true copy of the
