A RESOLUTION:
ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2013 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $118,305,795
WHEREAS, Section 15.2-2239 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, authorizes the
preparation and annual review of a Capital Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager submitted a proposed CIP to the Planning Commission
on February 15, 2008 and the Town Council on February 26, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed CIP on
March 6, 2008, reviewed the CIP for compliance with the Town Plan on March 20, 2008, and
approved a motion with recommendations concerning the CIP for adoption by the Town Council.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
proposed CIP for Fiscal Years 2009-2013 totaling $118,305,795 is approved.
PASSED this 22nd day of April, 2008.
