RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO NEGOTIATE FOR PURCHASE
OF PROPERTY AS DETERMINED DURING CLOSED SESSION

WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin City Council has considered during special session
of the Tiffin City Council the purchase of certain property;k
AND WHEREAS, it is necessary that the city be represented in this proceeding to
acquire said parcel;
THE CITY DOES HEREBY, authorize certain city officials to negotiate for
purchase of property as discussed, considered and decided during Special Session of the
Tiffin City Council.,.
On the 1St day of November, 2003, at a Special Meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Shaffer introduced A
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO NEGOTIATE FOR PURCHASE 01
OF PROPERTY AS DETERMINED DURING CLOSED SESSION, and'made a
motion for approval. The motion was seconded by

Whereupon, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE CITY TO NEGOTIATE FOR PURCHASE OF PROPERTY AS
DETERMINED DURING CLOSED SESSION, be adopted and signified his approval
of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed, by the Council on the 1 st day of November, 2003 and approved by the
Mayor on the 1St day of November, 2003.

RESOLUTION NO. 2003-44
RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE AND PLACEMENT OF ROCK
DRIVE FOR ACCESS TO PROPOSED WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, on this 10 day of Decembei"-003, the City of Tiffin desires to improve
k the access to the site of the proposed Water Treatment Plant location in preparation for
the development for the new Jordan Well.
WHEREAS; it is approved to purchase rock for the purpose of building an access
road and,
WHEREAS, it is approved to hire Iowa City Excavating to assist the city in clearing
and grubbing the site for location of the drive, and to haul rock for placement on -the drive
to the,proposed Water Treatment Plant.
WHEREAS, these items will be paid for through the Water Treatment Plant Project
FS-52-01-DWSRF-022.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City of Tiffin, that the above mentioned
items are hereby approved for said project.
