A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN ATTORNEY TO ADVERTISE A
PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND SECTION 2-92 THROUGH
SECTION 2.1-3 OF THE LEES BURG TOWN CODE
WHEREAS, Section 2-92 through Section 2.1-3 of the Town Code addresses the
composition, appointment process, and Councilmanic appointments of Boards and
Commissions of the Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds it necessary to consolidate and clarify these
Board and Commission issues.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that the Town Attorney is authorized to advertise a public hearing to be held on June 24,
2008 to amend Section 2-92 through Section 2.1-3 of the Leesburg Town Code.
PASSED this 28th day of May 2008.
