A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN ATTORNEY TO ADVERTISE
PUBLIC HEARINGS TO REPEAL, AMEND, AND REORDAIN
SECTIONS 2-20 THROUGH 2-26 OF ARTICLE II OF THE
LEESBURG TOWN CODE
WHEREAS, Sections 2-20 through Section 2-26 of Article II of the Leesburg
Town Code address the Council rules of procedure; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds it necessary to make the Town Code
consistent with Council practice; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds it necessary to facilitate orderly meetings.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that the Town attorney is authorized to advertise a public hearing of the Town Council to
be held June 24, 2008 to repeal, amend, and reordain Sections 2-20 through 2.26 of
Article II of the Leesburg Town Code.
