CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO. 2003-15
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF
MARION'S IST SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Marion Klein, hereinafter referred to as Owners/Subdividers, has
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, an application for approval of the
final plat of Marion's 1St Subdivision, a subdivision of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa,
which is legally described as follows:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT `A'
WHERES, the Planning and Zoning Commission has examined the final plat of
said subdivision and recommends to the council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has examined the final plat of said subdivision and
recommends to the council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has examined the final plat and the required legal
documents and recommends to the council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, the final plat is found to conform with all of the requirements of the
city's ordinances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa,
that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as necessary
to approve the final plat as submitted and as approved by the City Planning and Zoning
Commission, City Engineer and City Attorney, and further that the Mayor and Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute the legal documents submitted with the Final Plat as a
condition of its approval;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Owner/Subdivider of this property
shall record this Resolution and subsequent legal documents with the Office of the
Johnson County Recorder.
ON THE 9 thday of April , 2003, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Gericke introduced A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE

PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF MARION'S IST SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, IOWA, and
made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson
Dils
Ayes : Gericke, Huedepohl, Baftels, Dils and Shaffer
Nays: None
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT OF MARION'S 1sT SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN,
IOWA, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 9 th day of Apr i 1 2003, and approved by the
Mayor on the 9th day of April 2003.
