RESOLUTION NO. 2008-115
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR FY2009
WHEREAS, the FY2009 budget appropriated $1,105,500 for street resurfacing,
pavement milling, concrete repairs, handicapped ramp installation, and brick sidewalk
installations; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated July 7, 2008, the Director of Public Works has
recommended the following streets be included in the FY2009 Annual Street Resurfacing
Program:

2. Chadfield (Battlefield Pkwy. to Stoneledge PI.)
3. Stoneledge PI. (Cul-de-sac to Cul-de-sac)
4. Marshall Dr. (Mayfair Dr to End)
5. Edwards Ferry (Washington St. to Plaza St.)
6. North St. (Harrison St. to Woodberry Rd.)
7. Wildman St. (North St. to Oakcrest Manor Dr.)
8. Dodd Ct. (Dodd Dr. to Cul-de-sac)
9. Dodd Dr. (Wilson Ave. to Ayrlee Ave.)
10. Ayrlee Ave (Morven Park Rd. to Lakeview Way)
11. Fairview St. (Rosebrook Ct. to Old Waterford Rd.)
12. Lafayette PI. (Belmont Dr. to Cul-de-sac)
13. Lafayette Terr. (Belmont Dr. to Dry Mill Rd.)

WHEREAS, if funding is available the following streets shall also be included in the
FY2009 Street Resurfacing Program:

7. Ft. Evans Rd. (Rte. 15 bypass to Evans Ridge Terr.)
8. Appletree Dr. (Marshall Dr. to Plaza St.)
9. Miller Dr. (Sycolin Rd. to Blue Seal Ct.)
10. Kincaid Blvd. (Patrice Dr. to Battlefield Pkwy.)
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The FY2009 Street Resurfacing Program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Council
dated July 7, 2008, in the priority listed, is approved.
