AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT AND A SEWER EXTENSION PERMIT
AND APPROVING A PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE FOR VILLAGE AT
LEESBURG INTERIM SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION
WHEREAS, Kettler, the developer of the Village at Leesburg Interim Sanitary Sewer Pump
Station, has requested approval of a corporate surety bond from the Lexon Insurance Company in the
amount of $2,21 0,000 to guarantee the public improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends approval of a contract for installation of
public improvements and acceptance of a performance guarantee for the Village at Leesburg Interim
Sanitary Sewer Pump Station.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lees burg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Manager shall execute the contract for public improvements for the
improvements shown on the plans approved by the Director of Plan Review for the Village at Leesburg
Interim Sanitary Sewer Pump Station.
SECTION II. The extension of municipal sewer for the Village at Leesburg Interim Sanitary
Sewer Pump Station is approved in accordance with Section 15-9 ofthe Town Code.
SECTION III. A corporate surety bond from the Lexon Insurance Company in the amount of
$2,210,000 is approved as security to guarantee installation of the public improvements shown on plans
approved by the Director of Plan Review for the Village at Leesburg Interim Sanitary Sewer Pump
Station.
