CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 10
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF BIGELOW
SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, the Estate of Yvonne Bigelow, Lisa M. Novak, Executor; Diana J.
Bigelow, and Nancy A. Bigelow, hereinafter `BIGELOW", have filed with the Tiffin
City Clerk, an application for -approval of the final plat of Bigelow Subdivision, a
subdivision of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, which is legally described as follows:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT `A'
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has examined the final plat of
said subdivision and recommended to the Tiffin City Council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, the Tiffin City Engineer has examined the final plat of said
subdivision and recommended to the council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, the Tiffin City Attorney has examined the final plat and the required
legal documents and recommended to the council, approval of the same; and
WHEREAS, BIGELOW, their successors and assigns, have entered into a
Subdivider's Agreement with the City of Tiffin; and
WHEREAS, the lots therein shall remain zoned as Al, Agricultural until such
time as a rezoning is approved.
WHEREAS, all fees owed to the City of Tiffin from BIGELOW are either paid or
waived by the City.
WHEREAS, the final plat is found to conform with all of the requirements of the
City of Tiffin's ordinances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa,
that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as necessary
to approve the final plat as submitted and as approved by the City Planning and Zoning
Commission, City Engineer and City Attorney.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Tiffin shall record the final plat,
resolutions, and subsequent legal documents with the Office of the Johnson County
Recorder.
ON THE 11 th day of February, 2004, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Huedepohl introduced a RESOLUTION APPROVING
THE FINAL PLAT OF BIGELOW SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON
COUNTY, IOWA, , and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Dils.
Ayes : Bartels, Huedepohl, Dils, Gericke and Peterson.
Nays: None
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
FINAL PLAT OF BIGELOW SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY,
IOWA, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 1 ith day of February 2004, and approved by the Mayor
on the 11th day of February 2004.
