Board of Electrical Examiners and Review

March 1, 2017

Ray Fink
Jim Gooch
Sam Thomas
Bill Luebbert, Electrical Inspector
Larry Burkhardt, Building Official
MEMBERS ABSENT
Richard Green
Dave Steinman
The Electrical Board of Examiners and Review met March 1, 2017, in the Small Conference
Room of the John G. Christy Municipal Building. The meeting was called to order by Bill
Luebbert at 4:03 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes from the January 4, 2017 meeting:
A motion was made by Jim Gooch and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to approve the minutes of
the January 4, 2017 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
Review License Applications:
• A motion was made by Chris Bruemmer and seconded by Sam Thomas to allow Roger
Baysinger to take his Journeyman exam.
Old Business:
Ordinance changes regarding the structure of the Electrical Board were discussed and
approved. A motion was made by Ray Fink and seconded by Jim Gooch to send the approved
Electrical Board Restructuring Ordinance to City Council. Motion passed by show of hands.
New Business:
The Board discussed and confirmed to adopt the 2014 National Electrical Code.
Schedule Next Meeting:
The next meeting was tentatively set for May 3, 2017.

With no further business the meeting adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
