A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING TASK #7 TO THE CH2M HILL, INC. ON-CALL
PROFESSIONAL AIRPORT PLANNING, ENGINEERING, AND
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR DESIGN OF THE
AIRPORT INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEM GRADING PROJECT
WHEREAS, CH2M Hill, Inc. was selected for the On-Call Professional Airport's Planning,
Engineering, and Architectural Services Contract; and
WHEREAS, the Town is responsible for the design and construction of grading necessary for
the installation of an Instrument landing System (ILS) at the Leesburg Executive Airport in accordance
with an agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with this agreement, the FAA will reimburse the Town of Leesburg
for 100% of the costs of the design and construction of the ILS Grading project; and
WHEREAS, the FAA has concurred with the CH2M Hill, Inc. cost proposal for this task;
and
WHEREAS, the Airport Instrument Landing System Grading is a funded capital project.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute the Task Order contract, in a form approved by the Town
Attorney, with CH2M Hill, Inc. for Task Order No.7 for the Instrument Landing System Grading
design project, in the amount of$110,493.00.
