L -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-401 (MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC),
SCHEDULE B (LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED, RIGHT TURNS PROHIBITED); AND
SCHEDULE U (SCHOOL BUS LOADING ZONES, SCHOOL ZONES, PARKING LOTS,
ETC.) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI PERTAINING TO
STREETS IN THE VICINITY OF LEWIS AND CLARK MIDDLE SCHOOL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 19-401 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic), Schedule B (Left Turns
Prohibited, Right Turns Prohibited) is amended by the addition of subparagraphs (c)
and (d), as follows:
Left turns are prohibited between the hours of 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM as well as 2:30 PM to
3:30 PM on days when Jefferson City Public Schools are in session:
M Eastland onto Lewis and Clark Drive(south leg),provided this prohibition shall not
apply to school buses.
fsp Right turns are prohibited between the hours of 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM as well as 2:30 PM to
3:30 PM on days when Jefferson City Public Schools are in session:

apply to school buses.
Section 2. Section 19-401 (Motor Vehicles and Traffic), Schedule U (School Bus
Loading Zones, School Zones, Parking Lots, etc.) is amended by the addition
subparagraph (d), as follows:
Closed During School Hours. The following streets are closed to all vehicular traffic except
school buses on days when Jefferson City Public.Schools are in session:
The southernmost portion of Lewis and Clark Drive (south leg) fora distance of
1,125 feet, as measured on the centerline of Lewis and Clark Drive (south leg),
starting at the entrance of Lewis and Clark Drive (south l from Eastland,
between the hours of 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM as well as 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
