COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, APRIL 3, 2017
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of April 3, 2017, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
President Pro Tempore in the absence of Mayor Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Henry, Hussey, Luebbert, Mihalevich, Schreiber, and
Ward
Arrived late: *Wiseman (arrived at 5:47 P.M.)
Absent: Graham and Prather
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
*Councilwoman Wise arrived at 5:47 during discussion of addition to “Presentations
from Staff, Consultants and Invited Guests.”
President Pro Tempore Mihalevich stated he would like to add presentation of a
proclamation under Item 7(b) if that could be included in a motion to adopt the agenda
with that amendment.
Interim Planning & Protective Services Director Sonny Sanders stated he would like to
make an announcement about this year’s Bulky Items Spring Pick -Up which will occur in
April.
Chief Matt Schofield stated he would like to announce a Firefighters’ Day event which
would be held April 5.
2016-120 (tobacco) – Councilman Luebbert stated he would make a motion that bill
2016-120 be again postponed until the April 17 meeting due to the absence of the bill’s
sponsor, Councilman Carlos Graham.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:56 P.M.
