A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS BUDGETED IN THE TOWN
COUNCIL'S FY 2009 ADOPTED OPERATING BUDGET FOR PROJECT
INTIA TIVES SUBMITTED BY TOWN BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
WHEREAS, the Council included $20,000 in its FY 2009 Adopted Operating Budget to fund
project initiatives developed by Town boards and commissions designed to enhance their efforts to meet
their legal requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Council received project initiative proposals from the Economic Development
Commission, Technology and Communications Commission, Environmental Advisory Commission, Tree
Commission, and the Thomas Balch Library Commission totaling $10,300; and
WHEREAS, the Council has conducted a review of these project initiative proposals.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia approves the
transfer of $10,100 from its FY 2009 Adopted Operating Budget to the commissions in amounts not to
exceed those listed for each commission in the attached summary.
