Mary Schantz seconded the motion. Motion passed. Approval of Minutes Kevin Kelly moved the minutes from the March 14th Regular Meeting be accepted. Bill Gerling seconded. Motion passed. Section 106 Review The commission and members attending the meeting discussed the following Section 106 Review submittals for demolition of residential structures. a. 1204 E High St. - Jane Moore moved documentation has been provided. There is limited information provided in regards to historic properties affected by the current projects and is approved by this commission. Bill Case seconded the motion. Motion passed. b. 803 Montana - Mary Schantz moved documentation has been provided. There is limited information provided in regards to historic properties affected by the current projects and is approved by this commission. Terry Rademan seconded the motion. Motion passed. c. 1113 Park Avenue - Mary Schantz moved documentation has been provided. There is limited information provided in regards to historic properties affected by the current projects and is approved by this commission. Bill Case seconded. Motion passed. Old Business a. Certified Local Government Forum - Terri Rademan reported on the April 7th CLG Forum. Lauren Henry, Terri Rademan, Doug Record, and Sarah Hoeller attended the forum. b. Proposed Demolition Ordinance - Terri Rademan moved to change the verbiage of Article III - Sec. 8-32, Part F, Number 7 to add the following at the end of the presented statement, “for the purposes of appeal.” Doug Record seconded. Motion passed. Mary Schantz moved to accept the amendments presented in the Memorandum from city staff regarding the Historic Preservation Commission Boundary verbiage. Jane Moore seconded. Motion passed. Jane Moore moved to add the following checklist onto the application for demolition. These are some of the general criteria used by the Historic Preservation Commission to review the historic nature of your demolition application. Bill Gerling seconded the motion. Motion passed. Section 8- 44 C - Check the following boxes that apply to the structure(s) proposed for demolition:  Its character, interest, or value as part of the development, heritage or cultural characteristics of the community, county, state or nation;  Its location as a site of a significant local, county, state or national event;  Its identification with a person or persons who significantly contributed to the development of the community, county, state or nation;  Its embodiment of distinguishing characteristics of an architectural style valuable for the study of a period, type, method of construction or use of indigenous materials;  Its identification as a work of a master builder, designer, architect, or landscape architect whose individual work has influenced the development of the community, county, state or nation;  Its embodiment of elements of design, detailing, materials, or craftsmanship that render it architecturally significant;  Its embodiment of design elements that make it structurally or architecturally innovative;  Its unique location or singular physical characteristics that make it an established or familiar visual feature; or  Its character as a particularly fine or unique example of a utilitarian structure, including, but not limited to, farmhouses, gas stations, or other commercial structures, with a high level of integrity or architectural significance.
