RESOLUTION NO. 2009-043
A RESOLUTION: ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2010-2014 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM IN THE AMOUNT OF $81,382,019
WHEREAS, Section 15.2-2239 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, authorizes the
preparation and annual review of a Capital Improvements Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager submitted a proposed CIP to the Planning Commission
and the Town Council on February 24, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on the proposed CIP on
March 5, 2009, reviewed the CIP for compliance with the Town Plan on March 19,2009, and
approved a motion with recommendations concerning the CIP for adoption by the Town Council.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
proposed CIP for Fiscal Years 2010-2014 totaling $81,382,019 is approved.
PASSED this 14th day of April, 2009.
