ADOPTED June 9, 2009
A RESOLUTION: SETTING THE FY 2010 TOWN COUNCIL CALENDAR
WHEREAS, the Town Council traditionally meets in formal session at 7:30 p.m., on the
second and fourth Tuesday in each month and sits as a "committee of the whole" convening at
7:30 p.m. on the Monday preceding the regular council meeting in the Council Chambers, 25
West Market Street; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council traditionally cancels the last Council meetings in August
to observe summer vacation and the second meetings of December to observe the Christmas
holiday; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg will observe Labor Day on September 7, 2009; and
WHEREAS, this holiday will conflict with the work session of September 7, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg will observe Columbus Day on October 12,2009;
and
WHEREAS, this holiday will conflict with the work session of October 12,2009.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Council shall meet in formal session at 7:30 p.m., on the second
and fourth Tuesday in each month and shall sit as a "committee of the whole" convening at 7:30
p.m., on Monday preceding the regular council meeting in the Council Chamber, 25 West
Market Street or at such time and place as the Council may determine from time to time, except
there shall be no meeting on Monday, August 17,2009; Tuesday, August 18,2009; Monday,
December 21,2009; and Tuesday, December 22,2009.

RESOLUTION: SETTING THE FY 2010 TOWN COUNCIL CALENDAR
SECTION II. The work session meeting of Monday, September 7,2009 will be
rescheduled to Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and the formal session of Tuesday, September 8,
2009 will be rescheduled to Wednesday, September 9, 2009.
SECTION III. The work session meeting of Monday, October 12,2009 will be
rescheduled to Tuesday, October 13,2009 and the formal session of October 13,2009 will be
rescheduled to Wednesday, October 14,2009.
PASSED this 9th day of June 2009.
