A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND
PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES FOR THE EAST AND WEST ENTRANCES
OFF OF JASPER TO INCLUDE DEVELOPING PARKING LOT AND SOCCER
FIELDS ON THE CITY PROPERTY
Whereas, The City has indicated that paving of the east and west entrances off of
Jasper to include developing parking lot and soccer fields on the City Property would be
a good investment and good development, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that TIF funds need to be
spend accordingly;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the. City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize
Hart -Frederick to design the east and west entrances, parking lot and soccer fields off of
Jasper to the City Property.
On the 9th day of January, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-005, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES
FOR THE EAST AND WEST ENTRANCES OFF OF JASPER TO INCLUDE
DEVELOPING PARKING LOT AND SOCCER FIELDS ON THE CITY PROPERTY and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler, Phillips
Nays: None Y
Absent: none
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-005; A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -
FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES FOR THE EAST AND
WEST ENTRANCES OFF OF JASPER TO INCLUDE DEVELOPING PARKING LOT
AND SOCCER FIELDS ON THE CITY PROPERTY to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 9th day of January, 2013.
