A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR FY20 I 0
WHEREAS, the FY2010 revised budget appropriated $825,865 for street resurfacing,
pavement milling, concrete repairs, handicap ramp installations and brick sidewalk
installations; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated August 11,2009, the Director of Public Works
has recommended the following streets be included in the FY201 0 Annual Street Resurfacing
Program:

1. Catoctin Cir. (S. King St. to Harrison St.)
2. Catoctin Cir. (Dry Mill Rd. to Valley View Ave.)
3. E. Market St. (Sycolin Rd. to Plaza St.)
4. Harrison St. (Catoctin Cir. to W &OD Trail)
5. Plaza St. (Rt. 15 Bypass to Rockbridge Dr.)
6. Plaza St. (Rockbridge Dr. to E. Market St.)
7. Tavistock Dr. (Battlefield Pkwy. to Macalister Dr.)
8. Rt. 15 Bypass Ramps (Rt. 7 to Ft. Evans Rd.)
9. Belmont Dr. (Prospect Dr. to Valley View Ave.)
10. Cornwall St. (Memorial to Liberty)
11. First St. (Wirt St. to King St.)
12. Memorial Dr. (W. Market St. to Cornwall St.)
13. Miller Dr. (Sycolin Rd. to Blue Seal Ct.)
14. Prospect PI. (Catoctin Cir. to Prospect Dr.)
15. Prospect Dr. (Belmont Dr. to Belmont Dr.)
16. Second St. (Wirt St. to S. King St.)
17. Stratford PI. (Valley View Ave. to Cul-de-sac)
18. Tolbert La. (Sycolin Rd. to Miller Dr.)
19. Valley View Ave. (Stratford PI to Catoctin Cir.)

A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR FY201 0
WHEREAS, if funding is available the following streets shall also be included in the
FY2010 Street Resurfacing program:

1. Kincaid Blvd. (Battlefield Parkway to Tammy Terr.)
2. Kincaid Blvd. (Tammy Terr. To Patrice Dr.)
3. Sycolin Road (Rt. 15 Bypass to Hope Parkway)
4. Woodberry road (Edwards Ferry Road to North Street)
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
the FY2010 Street Resurfacing Program as outlined in a memorandum to the Town Council
dated August 11,2009, in the priority listed, is approved.
