A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND
PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES FOR THE SIDEWALK FROM DEERVIEW
THROUGH.THE TUNNEL TO THE CCA SCHOOL PROPERTY
Whereas, The City has previously began a project where a walking tunnel under
Highway 6 would be provided as a safe route to school for children, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that this project ,has a deadline
for completion with the State of Iowa;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
authorizing Hart -Frederick to design and `provide the cost estimates for the completion
of the side walk from Deerview through the tunnel to the CCA school property.
On the 9th day of January, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-006, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES
FOR THE SIDEWALK FROM' DEERVIEW THROUGH THE TUNNEL TO THE CCA
SCHOOL PROPERTY and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Ryan, Kahler, Upton
Nays: Phillips, Bartels
Absent: none.

Whereupon three Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-006, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -
FREDERICK TO DESIGN AND PROVIDE COST ESTIMATES FOR THE SIDEWALK
FROM DEERVIEW THROUGH THE TUNNEL TO THE CCA SCHOOL PROPERTY to
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 9th day of January, 2013.
