New council called to ord r immediately after a ournment of old council,
and were administered the oath of office.
Council.adjourned untill 7.30 P.M.
Meeting,continued at 7.30.
Mayor Groninga Presiding.
Councilmen Bantz-Beecroft- Fischu Junker-Okones.
Mayor.Groninga administred the49 office to John Beving as town treasure.
Douglas Geerdes was reappointed Marshall, Vdater Commisibner & Sewer Supt.
by Mayor Groninga. The council on motion set his salery at nbt mor than
4275.00 per month.
John E. Riekena was reappointed town clerk.
?Notion by Fischer second by Bantz that part of ordinance no 112, reading
CLERK) -That the.7own Clerk shall receive the sum of $20.00 per a month.0
be repealed and to read (CLERK) That the Town Clerk shall receive the
sum of $40.00 per month. Carried.
Mayor Groninga adminstered oath of office to John E. Riekena and to
Douglas Geerdes. gg
Dr. Kienzel was reappointed hdlth o0ficer
On motion regalar meetings to be held first Monday of month at 7.30 from
Oct. to May and at 8.00 from May to Oct.
Clerk was instruted to pay all regular bills between meetings.
Mayor Groninga appointed the fblling committees.
Finance-Fischer-Bantz-Junker. 'Waterworks-Okones-Beecroft-Fischer.
Sewer-Beecroft-Fischer-Okones. Street& Alley-Fischer-Bantz-Beecroft.
Fire-Junker-Fischer-Bantz. Purchasing-Junker-Beecroft-Okones.
Ordinance-Bantz-Beecroft-Junker.
On motion by Junker second by Beecroft that J.L. Fischer be Mayor Protem.
