A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2010 GENERAL
FUND BUDGET, AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR
$2,000 AWARDED THROUGH A GRANT RECEIVED BY THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE UNTIED STATES
SECRET SERVICE, DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY.
WHEREAS, the United States Secret Service has provided a grant to the Leesburg
Police Department in the amount of $2,000 for reimbursement of certain expenses related
to investigations of Internet Crime.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
that the FY 2010 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made
in the amount of $2,000 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009 and ending June 30,
2010, as follows to include the adjusted totals to the categories and accounts of the funds
listed below:
a. From the United States Secret Service a grant is received and appropriations of
$2,000 are made to the police department FY 2010 budget for certain
reimbursements of expenses related to investigations of Internet Crimes.
