RESOLUTION NO. 2010-032 ADOPTED March 23, 2010
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $43,573 TO
THE FY 2010 BUDGET RESULTING FROM THE RECEIPT OF
PROFFERED FUNDS FROM THE COUNTY OF LOUDOUN TO BE
USED FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO IDA LEE PARK.
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg operates Ida Lee Park: and
WHEREAS, the Town has received proffered funds in the amount of $91,267 from the
County of Loudoun to be used for improvements at Ida Lee Park, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Pazks and Recreation proposes to construct, at a cost of
$43,573, nine (9) shade structures at the A.V. Symington Aquatic Center (outdoor pool) as well as a
280' long paved trail linking the pool with the recreation center.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2010 Budget is hereby amended, and an appropriation is made in the
amount of $43,573 for the fiscal yeaz beginning July 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2010.
SECTION II. The Parks and Recreations Department, Parks Division, budget is amended
and increased in the amount of $43,573.
