FROM: C.M.Z., INC. TO: VEN~O'S PLACE, INC.
WHEREAS, application has been made to the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, by VENTO'S PLACE,
INC. for a Person-to-Person Transfer of ABC LICENSE f~1201-33-036~002 from
fl~, INC., present holder of same, premises located at 314 Pershing Avenue,
Carteret, NJ 07008 and said CMZ, INC. has consented to assign their rights
to said license to the aforesaid applicant, Vento's Place, Inc.; and
WH~IIEAS, according to law, the application for transfer was duly advertised
in The Home News & Tribune, a newspaper circulated in the Borough of Car,
teret and no objections to said transfer, either verbally or in writing,
were filed oS rode to the Governing Body or to the Municipal Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the application form is complete in all respects and the appli,
cant is qualified to be licensed according to all standards established
by Title 33 of the New Jersey Statutes, promulgated thereunder, as well as
pertinent local ordinances and conditions consistent with Title 33; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has disclosed and the local authority reviewed the
source of all funds used in the purchase of said license and the licensed
business and all additional financing obtained in connection with the
licensed business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ABD IT IS H~IEBY RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey that
ABC License ~/1201-33-036-002, heretofore granted to C.M.Z., Inc. to sell
alcoholic beverages in conformity with the laws, statutes, rules and
regulations of the State of New Jersey and the resolutions, ordinances,
rules and regulations of the Borough of Carteret relating to and concemin
said license and the sale of alcoholic beverages at 314 Pershing Avenue,
Carteret, NJ 07008 be and the same is hereby transferred to the applicant,
V~XrfO'S PLACE, INC. and to be held by them until such license expires,
unless sooner revoked.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby aut.hor~zed and
directed to execute the endorsement of transfer an behalf of the lvk%yor
and Council of the Borough of Carteret~ and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that two (2) certified copies of this Resolution
be sent forthwith to the State of New Jersey, Departmmnt of Law & Public
Safety, Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, Licensing Bureau, CN 087,
Trenton, New Jersey 087.
