Children & Adolescent Pediatric Services (CAPS) Celebrates
Grand Opening of New Leesburg Office on Monday,
September 24, 2012
Leesburg, VA (September 18, 2012) – At 4:00pm
on Monday, September 24, 2012, Town of
Leesburg officials will celebrate the grand
opening of Children & Adolescent Pediatric
Services’ (CAPS) new Leesburg office with a
ribbon cutting ceremony. CAPS is located at 161
Fort Evans Road NE, Suite 330, in the Leesburg
Commerce Center. Mayor Kristen Umstattd will
officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony.
CAPS provides a family-based, friendly environment, using the latest proven medical
advancements to enhance the lives of their patients and their families. They offer a full range
of pediatric services, including newborn care, well child exams, immunizations, school and
sports physicals and ADHD evaluation and treatment in addition to treatments for illness and
injury. For expectant mothers who are looking for a pediatrician, CAPS offers free introductory
appointments.
CAPS founder Dr. Sosun Faqiri graduated from Kabul Medical University. She completed her
internship and residency at UNDMJ Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey where she
received the “Extra Mile Award” and first place in Basic Science Research Poster Contest during
her residency. She is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Since her
graduation, Dr. Faqiri has been working with Nemours AI DuPont Hospital for Children in
Delaware which is one of the Top 5 hospitals in the country.
