A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR RUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDING THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF CHAPTER 99, SEWER USAGE CHARGE SYSTEM, TO
INCLUDE AN EXCEPTION UNDER 99.10 PAYMENT OF BILLS
Whereas, The City has reviewed the Municipal Code of Chapter 99, Sewer Usage
Charge System and determined there needs to be an exception added under 99.10
payment of bills and;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a
date for Public Hearing on 02/27/13 for Amending the Municipal Code of Chapter 99,
Sewer Usage Charge System, to include an Exception Under 99.10 Payment of Bills.
On the 13th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-015, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
CHAPTER 99, SEWER USAGE CHARGE SYSTEM, TO INCLUDE AN EXCEPTION
UNDER 99.10 PAYMENT OF BILLS and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Phillips.
Ayes: Kahler, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-015, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING FOR AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF CHAPTER 99,
SEWER USAGE CHARGE SYSTEM, TO INCLUDE AN EXCEPTION UNDER 99.10
PAYMENT OF BILLS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13TH day of February, 2013.
