I would like to donate three benches and four trees in honor of my
late husband, JP Stonehuerner. I’d like all of them to be in Gold Park
in the vicinity of the ball field and the pollinator garden. Probably
the benches should be on concrete pads so that they are as
accessible as possible to people using wheelchairs and walkers as
my husband did during the last few months of his life when walking
in Gold Park was one of his few remaining pleasures. It would be
great if the trees could be planted so that they would provide some
shade for the benches, but I understand the final decision about the
placement will be made by the town, especially because there are
many factors to consider. I would also like to donate 4 plaques to go
on the benches. I would like the plaques to read:
JP’s Sittin-n-thinkin Bench
JP’ Just Sittin Bench
JP’s Whatever Bench
And on the most central one:
Benches donated in honor of

Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.
