A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR $12,057 TO THE FY
2010 AIRPORT FUND OPERATIONS BUDGET FOR INSTALLATION OF AN
ELECTRONIC SECURITY GATE FOR SOUTH APRON TENANTS
WHEREAS, the South Apron Hangar project is projected to be completed in July 2010; and
WHEREAS, an electronic security gate is needed to provide south apron tenants secure and
convenient access to their hangars and tie downs; and
WHEREAS, the current contract with the vendor who installed eight electronic security gates at
the Leesburg Executive Airport will be used for installation of the south apron security gate; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Aviation has approved a grant for $10,851 or 90% and
the Airport Fund will provide $1,206 or 10% of the cost to install the south apron security gate.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The FY 2010 Airport Fund Operations Budget in amended and a supplemental appropriation in
the amount of $12,057 is made for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2010 for the
installation of an electronic security gate for south apron tenants at the Leesburg Executive Airport.
