Staff Report:
Dan Pillard reported several applications were considered for the golf professional

and beverage operation and to work with a combined golf/restaurant contract and to
provide financing for the buy-out of the previous contractor.
New Business:
Committee discussed several options for the 2003 season rate structure. Included in
those options were a new resident rate, lower season pass rates, a discounted pass rate
if purchased before April 1st, and an incentive to promote group discounts. (See the
Attachment for the proposed rate structure).

2003 RATE PROPOSAL
• Operate under regular 2002 greens fee rate schedule and locker fee for 2003 season.
• Raise trail fee to $200 from$195.
• Lower regular, college, and junior season passes to 2001 rates.
• Eliminate discount pass.
• Add a resident rate* for individuals whom have their residency in Valley or Adams
County (Players must show driver's license or state issued ID.) This rate will
decrease the regular rates by$2 per nine holes.
• Add resident season pass.
• Add discount for purchases of regular and resident season passes if purchased prior
to April 1, 2003.
• Add regular greens fee rates for juniors.
* The objective of the introduction of a resident rate has many facets. A resident rate
will create loyalty and a sense of ownership with the residents of Valley and Adams
Counties. A resident rate creates a unique marketing opportunity to McCall G.C.
versus other golf courses in our area. The city will have a dual avenue for future rate
adjustment as we move more into a destination resort community. More golf courses
will be coming on-line in the near future and a resident rate will add to competitiveness
for the local market share.
