RESOLUTION NO. 2010-055 ADOPTED ~ 25, 2010
A RESOLUTION: SETTING THE FY 2011 TOWN COUNCIL CALENDAR
WHEREAS, the Town Council traditionally meets in formal session a[ 7:30 p.m., on the
second and fourth Tuesday in each month and sits as a "committee of the whole" convening at
7:30 p.m. on the Monday preceding [he regulaz council meeting in [he Council Chambers, 25
West Market Street; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council traditionally cancels the last Council meetings in August
to observe summer vacation and the second meetings of December [o observe the Christmas
holiday; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg will observe Columbus Day on October 11, 2010;
and
WHEREAS, this holiday will conflict with the work session of October 1 I, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the Loudoun CounTy School Boazd has changed the school calendar to
provide the entire Thanksgiving week off; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg will observe President's Day on February 21, 201 l;
and
WHEREAS, this holiday will conflict with the work session of February 21, 2011.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Town Council shall meet in formal session at 7:30 p.m., on the second
and fourth Tuesday in each month and shall sit as a "committee of the whole" convening at 7:30
p.m., on Monday preceding the regulaz council meeting in the Council Chamber, 25 West
Market Stteet or at such time and place as the Council may determine from time to time, except

there shall be no meeting on Monday, August 23, 2010; Tuesday, August 24, 20]0; Monday,
December 27, 2010; and Tuesday, December 28, 2010.
SECTION II. The work session meeting of Monday, November 22, 2010 is rescheduled
to Monday, November 29, 2010 and the formal session of Tuesday, November 23, 2010 is
rescheduled [o Tuesday, November 30, 2010.
SECTION III. The work session meeting of Monday, October 11, 2010 will be
rescheduled to Tuesday, Oc[ober 12, 2010 and the formal session of Tuesday, October 12, 2010
will be rescheduled to Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
SECTION III. The work session meeting of Monday, February 21, 2011 will be
rescheduled to Tuesday, February 22, 2011 and the formal session of February 22, 2011 will be
rescheduled to Wednesday, Febmazy 23, 2011.
