A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND LETTING FOR
DIVISION 2 OF WATER TOWER PROJECT TO INCLUDE: 16 -INCH MAIN TO THE NEW
WATER TOWER AND THE 12 -INCH MAIN FROM THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT TO
IRELAND AVENUE
Whereas, The City3Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has reviewed and will be accepting
sealed bids for the purpose of getting the 16 -inch main to the new water tower and the 12 -
inch main from the water treatment plant to Ireland Avenue within the corporate City limits of
Tiffin, Iowa, and;
Whereas the City Council will hold a public hearing on February 27, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the
Springmier Library at the CCA Middle School, therefore, the City Council,directs the City
Clerk to submit paperwork, necessary for a public hearing and notice of letting for the above
named project.
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set a public
hearing and bid letting date for February 27, 2013.
On the 13th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Phillips introduced Resolution No. 2013-018, A RESOLUTION SETTING A
DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND LETTING FOR DIVISION 2 OF WATER TOWER
PROJECT TO INCLUDE: 16 -INCH MAIN TO THE NEW WATER TOWER AND THE 12 -
INCH MAIN FROM THE WATER TRETMENT PLANT TO IRELAND AVENUE and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Kahler, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-018, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING AND LETTING FOR DIVISION 2 OF WATER TOWER PROJECT TO
INCLUDE: 16 -INCH MAIN TO THE NEW WATER TOWER AND THE 12 -INCH MAIN FROM
THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT TO IRELAND AVENUE to be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13TH day of February, 2013.
