Call to Order
Bob Miller called to order the meeting of the Brewster Building Needs & Assessment
Committee at 7:30 pm on November 18, 2009 in Brewster Town Hall.
Roll call
The following persons were present: Herb Montgomery, Greg Levasseur, Ed Lewis,
Jim Foley, David Telman, Richard Hoffmann, Robert Miller and Richard Kosinski
Owner Project Manager Services
Herb Montgomery, Greg Levasseur and Robert Miller met with Omer Dumas from
Tight and Bond. His firm will provide services as an owner project manager and
clerk of the works with a total allowance of $90,000. The committee vote
unanimously to authorize the contract.
RFP for Architectural Services for Edd School Renovation Pro'ect
Charlie Sumner developed a draft RFP, which was circulated to the committee
members for review. All comments were included in the final draft. Doreen
Contrastano has prepared the advertisements, which will be issued on Friday.
The committee vote unanimously to authorize the RFP.
Design Services Contract
Charlie Sumner has finalized the design services contract addendum for phase IV for
construction administration in the amount of $90,000. for TLCR. The committee
vote unanimously to authorize the Town Administrator to issue a notice to proceed
for construction administration to TLCR.
Whitecaps Garage Relocation Contract
Charlie Sumner has prepared a contract for Glen Svennigson to relocate the
Whitecaps Garage building temporarily on-site. The building has to be relocated to
accommodate the Stony Brook School addition project. The committee voted
unanimously to authorize the Town Administrator to issue to the contract.
The next committee meeting is scheduled for December 9, 2009 at 7:30 pm. Robert
Miller and Richard Kosinski are not available.
