December 16, 2009
Call to Order•
Bob Miller called to order the Meeting of the Brewster Building Needs and Assessment
Committee at 7:30 P.M. on December 16, 2009 in Brewster Town Hall.
Roll Call:
The following persons were present: Herb Montgomery, Greg Levasseur, David Telman,
Robert Miller, and Richard Kosinski.
Stonv Brook School Addition:
Greg Levasseur reported to the committee that the Town of Brewster representatives had
a meeting with the MSAB Board in Boston, on Monday, December I4 2009. Items
discussed were:
What educational programs could be in place at the Eddy School?
How many classrooms would be required by the MSAB to satisfy the educational
component required by the MSAB Board?
Further discussion and future meetings with the MSAB and the Town of Brewster will be
needed to enable the project to continue.
Greg Levasseur also reported that working with our Representative Cleon Turner and
Senator OLeary a bill will be attached to an Education Reform Bill that hopefully will
aide the Town Of Brewster to continue with the reconfiguration of various town
buildings. This should be completed during the third week of January, 2010.
Town Hall HVAC•
Greg Levasseur reported that by January, 2010, the newly installed heating system will
be up and running.
RFP for Eddv School:
The RFP for the Eddy School will be on hold until further notice.
The next committee meeting is scheduled for January 13, 2010 at 7:30 P.M.
