RESOLUTION NO. 2010-088 ADOPTED July 13, 2010
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO EXISTING VIRGINIA POWER AND TOWN
LICENSE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92-190 authorized the Town Manager to execute a license
agreement with Dominion Virginia Power (DVP) for placement of Town's effluent force main
within the DVP right of way; and
WHEREAS, power demands in the area has necessitated the need for looping of two of
DVP's terminus power grids together along Rivercreek Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the route of this new loop parallels the Town's pipeline to Potomac River
and is located within the easement granted by DVP to Town.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is hereby authorized to :execute this amended license agreement, in a form
approved by the Town Attorney, with Dominion Virginia Power.
