A RESOLUTION: APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2011 GENERAL FUND
BUDGET, AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR $5,000
AWARDED THROUGH A DONATION RECEIVED BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT FROM LOUDOUN GUNS.
WHEREAS, Melissa and Nelson Gilbert of Loudoun Guns made a donation to the
Leesburg Police Department in the amount of $5,000 in support of law enforcement activities.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2011 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation
is made in the amount of $5,000 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30,
2011, as follows to include the adjusted totals to the categories and accounts of the funds listed
below:
a. From Melissa and Nelson Gilbert of Loudoun Guns a $5,000 donation is received and
appropriations of $5,000 are made to the Police Department FY 2011 budget to expand
department capabilities and complete special projects designed to improve and enhance
the Police Department's effectiveness.
