RESOLUTION NO. 2010-104 ADOPTED: Julv 27, 2010
A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE FY 2011 GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND
MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $737,500 FROM THE CAPITAL ASSET REPLACMENT FUND
WHEREAS, with Resolution 2010-072, the Town Council established a Capital Asset
Replacement Reserve of $1,500,000; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council and Town Manager have determined an immediate need
[o commence procurement of (1) replacement audio-visual equipment in the Counci] Chambers,
(2) an upgraded generator for the Public Works facility (based on February 2010 blizzard
experience), (3) upgraded gas tank and pumps for the Public Works facility (based on February
2010 blizzard experience); and (4) replacement HVAC units in the Leesburg Public Safety
Center;
WHEREAS, the estimated costs for these items are $92,500 for Council Chambers audio-
visual equipment, $200,000 for the Public Works Facility Generator, $300,000 for the Public
Works Facility Gas Tank and Pumps, and $145,000 for HVAC units in the Leesburg Public
Safety Center.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, the FY 2011 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and a
supplemental appropriation is made in the amount of $737,500 from the Capital Asset
Replacement Reserve to the General Fund for the acquisition of the above-mentioned items.
