A RESOLUTION: TOWN HALL ART GALLERY-APPROVAL OF THE NEXT ART
EXHIBIT BY THE "FOUR LOUDOUN LADIES" AUGUST 6-
OCTOBER 30, 2010
WHEREAS, [he Town of Leesbwg Council supports the Commission on Public Art
established in 2006 (COPA Article XII Section 2-100 of the Leesbwg Town Code); and
WHEREAS, the work of the Commission on Public Art encowages and supports art to
enhance Leesburg's identity as a community and to demonstrate that Leesbwg values art and
creativity within the communiTy; and
WHEREAS, the Commission on Public Art proposes [hat art from Maggie S[einhilper,
Teresa M. Vazquez, Penny Hauffe and Lee McKinster known as [he "Fow Loudoun Ladies"
be the fourth art exhibit in the gallery; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council must endorse all art displayed on public property.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesbwg in V irginia
endorses the art work for display August 6 through October 30, 2010.
