AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE AREA 9 IN-HOME AND COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY
WHEREAS, The Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency has funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks Department desires to submit a grant application to purchase a new refrigerator for the Richmond Community Senior Center; and
WHEREAS, a local match in the amount of One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($1,867.00) is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to Area 9 In-Home and Community Services Agency to purchase a new refrigerator for
the Richmond Community Senior Center.
2. The City of Richmond Parks Department is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to One Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($1,867).
3. Said Funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks Department, shall be appropriated to purchase a new refrigerator for the Richmond Community Senior Center.
Passed and adopted this 16th day of December, 2002, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
