A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR CHANGING THE
DUE DATE FOR ANIMAL LICENSES/TAGS TO JANUARY YEARLY
Whereas, The City recognizes that it is more convenient to have animal licenses/tags
be due on a calendar year basis instead of the City's fiscal year;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that a public hearing on
02/27/13 must be held to change or amend an Ordinance;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to -
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR CHANGING THE DUE DATE FOR
ANIMAL LICENSES/TAGS TO JANUARY YEARLY.
On the 13th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2013-023, A RESOLUTION -
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR CHANGING THE DUE DATE FOR
ANIMAL LICENSES/TAGS TO JANUARY YEARLY and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Absent: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-023, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING FOR CHANGING THE DUE DATE FOR ANIMAL
LICENSES/TAGS TO JANUARY YEARLY to be adopted and signified his approval of
the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13th day of February, 2013.
