RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HART -FREDERICK CONSULTANTS, CITY
ENGINEER, TO PROCEED WITH THE DESIGN, OBTAINING NECESSARY
EASEMENTS AND PERMITS FOR THE 2013 WATER STORAGE PRESSURE
UPGRADE, PHASE 4, REGULATING WATERMAIN VAULT PROJECT IN AND FOR
THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IA.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin recognizes the importance of the providing safe uniform
pressures as part of said 2013 Water Storage Pressure Upgrade Project due to the location of the
proposed storage parameters;
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin is desirous for the City Engineer, Hart -Frederick Consultants
P.C. to proceed with the said Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, IOWA, that the City Engineer, Hart -Frederick Consultants P.C., is hereby ordered to
proceed with the project design for the 2013 Water Storage Pressure Upgrade, Phase 4, Pressure
Regulating,Watermain Vaults Project to prepare Plans, Specifications, Contract Documents and
Engineer's Estimate of Cost; obtain necessary easements and prepare necessary permits for the
letting of said project.
On the 13th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2013-024,
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
AYE: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Kahler
NAY: None
ABSENT: Ryan
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared
that'the Resolution No.2013-024, be, adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13th day of February, 2013.
