RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -136 ADOPTED: October 13, 2010
A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE FY 2011 GENERAL FUND BUDGET AND MAKING A
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $264,000 FROM
THE CAPITAL ASSET REPLACMENT FUND
WHEREAS, with Resolution 2010 -072, the Town Council established a Capital Asset
Replacement Reserve of $1,500,000; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council and Town Manager have determined an immediate need
to replace heavily used cardiovascular fitness equipment at Ida Lee Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the Ida Lee Recreation Center Fitness Center relies on the functionality of
its fitness machines and equipment; and
WHEREAS, the 75 machines identified are eight years old; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost for these items is $264,000; and
WHEREAS, a balance of $762,500 remains available in the Capital Asset Replacement
Reserve.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, the FY 2011 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and a
supplemental appropriation is made in the amount of $264,000 from the Capital Asset
Replacement Reserve to the General Fund for the acquisition of the above mentioned items.
