RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -142 ADOPTED November 9, 2010
A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE UTILITY RATE ADVISORY
COMMITTEE (URAC)
WHEREAS, participation by public- spirited citizens on town boards, commissions and
committees is vital to the success of town government and the democratic process; and
WHEREAS, boards, commissions and committees serve an indispensible role in providing
recommendations concerning town policy and programs; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure
on these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, vacancies exist on the Utility Rate Advisory Committee.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
Kimberly E. Hicks is appointed as an in -town service representative for a term to expire June 30,
2012 and Daniel Connelly is appointed as an in -town service representative for a term to expire
June 30, 2014.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Nan Moring and Edward Munoz are appointed as out
of town service representatives for terms to expire November 9, 2012.
