RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -148 ADOPTED November 30, 2010
A RESOLUTION: GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER
COMPANY (VEPCO) AND COMCAST FOR THE SYSTEM UPGRADE AT
SITE OF CARR TANK
WHEREAS, staff has determined the need for the upgrading of the utility services at the site
of Carr tank; and
WHEREAS, the installation of these utilities will require extension of electric and
communication service into the site; and
WHEREAS, VEPCO has provided the deed and plat to the town for review and approval;
and
PRESENTED November 30, 2010
WHEREAS, the required documents have not been received from Comcast but are expected
soon. Once received, the documents will be reviewed and approved by Town Attorney's office.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows
that the Town Manager is authorized to execute the documents for dedicating the required
easements upon their approval by the Town Attorney.
