Members present were; Elliott Carr, Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Roland Bassett Jr. 1. Approval of Minutes of February 11, 2009 Motion by Roland Bassett Jr. to approve minutes as presented Second by Elizabeth Taylor VOTE: 6-0-0 2. Reorganization of Officers Slate of Officers presented by Paul Hush; Chairman; Paul Hush Vice-Chair; Elliott Carr Clerk: Elizabeth Taylor Motion by Roy Robinson to approve Paul Hush as Chairman of CPC. Seconded by Elizabeth Taylor. VOTE: 5-1-0 Motion by Roland Bassett Jr. to approve Elliott Carr as Vice-Chair of CPC. Seconded by Paul Hush. VOTE: 6-0-0 Motion by Roland Bassett Jr to approve Elizabeth Taylor as Clerk of CPC. Seconded by Roy Robinson. VOTE: 6-0-0 Paul thanked Elliott for his years of service ad Chairman. Elliot stated he was glad to be Vice-Chair. He is looking ahead not back. 3. Revised Copy of Financials from Lisa Souve. • Request report be dated in bold • Shows how and where remaining Administration expenses move to. 4. Review CPC articles for May TM 1. Historic Preservation- Crosby Mansion Total $187,000. CPC $ 125,000. 2. Recreation- Tennis Courts CPC Minutes 02-25-09 CPC $ 250,000. Discussion regarding the wording of the motion. Possible misunderstanding that grant monies will be deducted from the amount CPC will contribute. Paul Hush will check with Town Administrator about what outside grants will mean to the balance ($250,000. CPC maximum). Will the Town cover the balance? 3. Cemetery CPC $5,000. 4. Open Space (separate article) CPC $100,000. If State Grant does not come through; BCT will buy one lot and ask for an extension for 2 years to re=apply for state grant to buy Lot 2. 5. Authorize payment of annual fees ($2500) to the CP Coalition. MOTION by Elizabeth Taylor to approve $2500. to be paid to join Community Preservation Coalition. Seconded by Roland Bassett Jr. VOTE: 6-0-0 6. Review Project Funding Guideline. MOTION by Roland Bassett Jr. to table discussion of this item until Mike Lach is present. Seconded by Paul Hush. VOTE: 6-0-0 7. Other business Update from Historic regarding barn at Spruce Hill property- barn has been roofed and building made airtight. Not spending any addition monies until possible move to Old Town Hall has been discussed and decided.
