A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON AMENDING THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, CHAPTER 92.03 and 92.04 TO ALLOW FOR
LATE FEE AND NSF FEE
Whereas, The City is considering amending Chapter 92 to add a 5% late fee and a $25
NSF fee, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin requests public comments regarding this
proposed amendment;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
public hearing date for March 13, 2013 regarding amending Chapter 92.03 and Chapter
92.04 of the Municipal Code of Tiffin, Iowa, to include a late fee charge and NSF fee.
On the 27th day of February, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-029, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA,
CHAPTER 92.03 and 92.04 TO ALLOW FOR LATE FEE AND NSF FEE and made a
motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
_declared that the Resolution No. 2013-029, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE TO AMEND THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIFFIN, IOWA, CHAPTER
92.03 and 92.04 TO ALLOW FOR LATE FEE AND NSF FEE to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 27th day of February, 2013.
